Is "I Am Legend" a remake of "The Omega Man"?
I just saw a listing for it and I was curious.
If it is a remake, the original had a solid premise but the execution was horrendous. What are the odds that this one will be better?
Yes. It's an adaptation of Omega Man.
I'm hoping that this one will be better. I guess at one point, Arnold Schwarzenegger was supposed to star with Michael Bay directing. That would have been laughable; probably terrible. The guy that helped write this script also wrote Beautiful Mind and the DaVinci Code screenplay. I have high hopes.
